I met this guy on EH and need a little help here - not a good dater We went out on 3 great dates and on the last date had an awesome kiss - I called him the next day to thank him for a great night and suggested that we talk soon to make plans to get together again - he agreed and said he was thinking about out kiss - there was a lot of attraction and we had a lot in common - now it's been a week and I haven't heard from him - With all the "rules" Im confused - I would like to call him just to say hi whats up - but everyone around me tells me no he's lost interest - because he was calling me every 2 days - what to do ?

Your problem is that you continue to believe that there is some code of conduct when it comes to dating, which is based on what others have conditioned you to believe.

Different things work for different people, for example: good looking women with huge breasts will often comment how easy it is to make friends in new places...

It has only been a week, so I wouldn't jump to assuming he lost interest. Call him up and see what happens, you have nothing to lose.

Maybe it's your turn to call him? Anyway...who cares who's turn it is and these stupid rules and what everyone else says.
Do you like him? Do you want to see him again? Do you want to talk to him? Call.
What's keeping you from calling him up till now? What "rules" are you using that kept you from calling him?
Call.
What if he's playing by the same stupid "rules" that's preventing you from calling him? If true, then you're both locked in a Cold War of dating. Are you the Soviet Union? The USA under President Regan? What?
Call.

Rules? What rules? Whatever rule book you've got, throw it out. Maybe he lost interest and maybe he didn't but is getting called by another gal who's reading a different rule book.

So yeah, gittyup already and call him and ask what's up, and be prepared to offer another meetup for drinks or something. While you're sitting around wondering if you should call him, someone else is calling him and you're losing out.

waypoint is right - I not good at this and - I want to be myself and do what I want and yes I want to call and see how he is even if it goes to voicemail and he never call again - im ok with that - what im not ok with is all the stupid rules of dating - so I am going to not follow those rules and make my own be myself thanks

Just step out and do what you think is appropriate based on what you know about him. Check your emotions and be objective
. Ask yourself a few questions, then pick up the phone and get ready to stand on the tracks. You will not know until you ask.
