Reading some of these threads of OP asking when is it ok to kiss, hug, do the shagalicious, etc.. is somewhat interesting to me. Why because we are adults, and it takes two to tango, so if you are on a first, second, third or OMG 25th date, and the spirit moves you both, then why not? This is two consenting adults...... not children and should not be judged by their actions Do you need all these strangers opinions of what you should do, whether you should do it, or when you should do it? No, your an adult and as such, you actually do have the luxury of deciding for yourself!! You have earned it through the years! I guess one of the luxuries of growing older!
Just my opinion!

Ladyjuju, thanks for saying what I have been thinking for so long! It's true. We are consenting adults so shouldn't be second guessing our actions.

Hi Sabete, thank you for your response! It is true. I find some of the opinions here a little much...........to say the least, but they are opinions being expressed behind a keyboard....and yes, you can hide a lot behind a keyboard!!! but I kind of wonder, what goes on in their real lives! If only every one could be brutally honest!! I guess the threads would blow up !! haha! At least I know I am honest in these boards! Not everyone appreciates it!

Yes, the threads will blow up. People want brutal honesty when it conveniences them -- and won't hesitate to be brutally honest themselves -- but not do desirous of being on the receiving end.

This is definitely a "kindler, gentler" online forum compared to most other online forums. Even as a CL I don't know how that really benefits anyone. Dating, love, relationships marriage...they feed off of emotional energy, be it positive or negative. Discussions on these topics cannot always be as septic as people would like them to be. But we try the best we can. There's something to be said about being able to express your frustrations in a way that's tactful, respectful, etc. But let's face it -- we're human, and when we hurt the last thing we want to do is to be tactful.
