I also advocate going with your gut.

For a reference on this, try reading "Power versus Force" by Dr. David Hawkins. It's about the science of applied kinesiology (AK), which can assist one in measuring the truth or compatibility of just about anything. Your "gut" is pretty much the same kind of measurement mechanism. It could just be temporary anxiety or lust on his part, but look at his actions with ALL of your own instincts.

I even use AK to pick brands of toothpaste. It works really well for a wide variety of decisions. It does take some training and practice, as we can all deceive ourselves at times. Mistakes usually lead to a lesson to be learned, and some personal growth. Eep! (Don't we all often hate having to gain more "personal growth"? It's a good thing, but is seldom comfortable.)
