Hi!

I'm new to EH, been here almost a month, I know it's a short amount of time but not having much luck with responses so I thought I'd throw my profile out here for your review! ;0)

1. What are you most passionate about? Family and friends, they're the backbone of my world. Making time to be together is a priority for me, whether it be celebrating a birthday or holiday or for no reason at all, it's important to keep the family bond strong and growing, Cooking! Finding and trying new recipes! Cooking for my family and friends is the best!2. What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful? 1.

3. 3. Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why? I try to learn something from everyone that is or has been a part of my life. It's hard to nail down one who has been the most influential....but I think I would say my brother, he has overcome alot of adversity in his life, turned his life around 180 degrees and he's always looking for ways to better himself, I'm very proud of him and how he has remade his life. He's taught me to never give up on myself.4. The four things your friends say about you are: Edit Caring Easy-Going Thoughtful Optimistic 5. What are three of your BEST life-skills? Edit Cooking for my family and friends Earning income to provide for my family Raising and/or caring for children 6. What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person? How can you pick just one? Considerate, Loyal, Kind, Compassionate, Passionate, Faithful, Adventurous and Funny are some that come to mind.7. Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you? I'm easy to get along with and I love to laugh!8. What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD? I have no idea, I can't say I've ever asked anyone what is the one thing you didn't notice about me right away? lol. :0)9. How do you typically spend your leisure time? I enjoy going for walks, reading a good book, watching tv and football, going for a drive, traveling, gardening, cooking, barbequeing, spending time with friends, watching the sunset.10. What are five things that you "can't live without?" a. b. c. d. e. 11. Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it? Eat, Pray, Love, by Elizabeth Gilbert. It was about her quest to get to know the whys and wherefores of her actions in her past love affairs and ultimately her quest for a closeness to God. She had it all, success, marriage, a beautiful home and she walked away from it. She took off to visit Italy, India and Indonesia and mediatate on the ins and out of love, in its many forms, food, language, humanity, God and most meaningful, love of self. I most liked the way she challenged herself and how she worked out the many confusing things that she did (that we all do) and why she did them. Her journey to enlightenment was very uplifting!12. Describe one thing about yourself that only your best friends know. I'm always being watched to see if I'm crying during movies, whether it's a sad moment, sweet and emotional or romantic, I've been known to cry at commercials, emails and books too....it's ridiculous, lol.13. Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you? I'm a work in progress! I'm working very hard to transform myself to more accurately represent who I am. I've shed quite a few pounds in the past year and I am working on being a healthier and happier me! I very much would like to find that special someone to share and experience life with, I'm a very loyal person, honest and caring. I have had my share of bumps in the road, but thanks to my optimistic nature I believe you're out there and we'll find each other!
