Ok, so I have been communicating for three months with this fantastic man, we have sent photos back and forth, had long phone conversations and even finally met and spent four wonderful days together (in separate hotel rooms) in another state. We had a great weekend of dates.

We did a lot of talking - very private detailed information that you just wouldn't tell anyone. After we returned to our prospective states, he slowed communication - only called once a week and just about never emailed any longer.

I sent him a nice email that said I believe he needed space and I was more than willing to provide him with it. I would be here if he wanted to continue our dialogs when he was ready - he has quite a few stressfull things going on right now and I understand that.

Well, he called me and said he doesn't need space, he has just been dealing with these issues and is keeping his head down to try and get through them. He then called me one other time that week. It has now been two weeks since I have heard from him. He clearly said he didn't need space and that we were ok, yet no communication at all.

I feel like a dope... I'm back in the dating pool after 20 years and don't understand all the games and such.... Any honest opinion would be appreciated... I don't know if I should continue with my simple contacts (text now and then) or just stop and let it go.

Thanks in advance for your advice..
