Well, heck I'm normally a metal gal but most death metal isn't too romantic. After the date, however, if I'm feeling really ro-mantic, I'll probably dig out one of my guilty pleasures, some unapologetically goth love songs, i.e. anything by HIM.
This am I was listening to Atreyu, "Ain't Love Grand" .... "It's so hard to sleep when your eyes are rolling in the back of your head..."

I live so close to the border that I pick up the country station out of Canada.
