I love latin music, salsa or bachata for example, in any kind of mood when you listen it makes you wanting to move and dance!
I love it too!
I have a CD called Hot Latin Nights, have had it for at least 10 years now. There is a song on it called Cana Crava - I have absolutely no idea what the lyrics mean, but I like the sound of it, it lifts me up .

Could you be referring to Cana Brava? It was an excellent meringue group that was at its height in the 1990s...Their big hit, 'A Caballo, Oh Oh' is what many of their fans consider their greatest tune. They released a greatest hits album in 1994.

Great band and music!

I have no idea who is performing it. It's a mixed CD, not just one artist or band. The particular song I was referring to is called Cana Crava. That's all I know.

I think it might be too much to listen to during a date, but my favorite love song is You Go to My Head:

You go to my head,
And you linger like a haunting refrain
And I find you spinning round in my brain
Like the bubbles in a glass of champagne.

You go to my head
Like a sip of sparkling burgundy brew
And I find the very mention of you
Like the kicker in a julep or two

The thrill of the thought
That you might give a thought
To my plea casts a spell over me
Still I say to myself: get a hold of yourself
Can't you see that it can never be?

You go to my head
With smile that makes my temperature rise
Like a summer with a thousand Julys
You intoxicate my soul with your eyes
Tho I'm certain that this heart of mine
Hasn't a ghost of a chance in this crazy romance,
You go to my head.

Those who know me say that I am practically void of emotion, but I really believe that I am actually hopelessly romantic

Finlandia-hymni

O, Finland, behold, your day is dawning,
The threat of night has been banished away,
And the lark of morning in the brightness sings,
As though the very firmament would sing.
The powers of the night are vanquished by the morning light,
Your day is dawning, O land of birth.
O, rise, Finland, raise up high
Your head, wreathed with great memories.
O, rise, Finland, you showed to the world
That you drove away the slavery,
And that you did not bend under oppression,
Your day is dawning, O land of birth.
And I wouldn't care if any date didn't care for it. Their problem. In fact I drage a friend along to a concert recently where it was sung by a welsh choir. she cried along with me. and she's Irish!

This is haunting me and makes me feel voided of emotion. Please someone stop the room from spinning. This poem makes me want to upchuck.

Finland fought Russia to a standstill right before WW2. That's heart.

Sorry, I don't know how to do that from another continent - never acquired that particular set of skills. Could you possibly be inflicting all those pins in odd places on yourself somehow?

Of course it is. I think they should change the dictionary definition, don't you?
