No laughing!

Right now I'm dating a guy that lives on a ranch. For our 2nd date (he made me dinner), I drove down 8 miles of dirt road in my convertible and was met by his 3 dogs (who adore me, by the way). Before dinner, he gave me tour of the property on his ATV. So I really love this song. No laughing!

Big Green Tractor
She had a shiny little Beamer with the rag top down,
Sittin' in the drive but she wouldn't get out,
The dogs were all barking and wagging around,
And I just laughed and said y'all get in.
She had on a new dress and she curled her hair,
She was looking too good not to go somewhere,
Said what you want to do baby I don't care,
We can go to the show we can stay out here,

And I can take you for a ride on my big green tractor,
We can go slow or make it go faster,
Down through the woods and out to the pasture,
Long as I'm with you it really don't matter,
Climb up in my lap and drive if you want to,
Girl you know you got me to hold on to,
We can go to town but baby if you'd rather,
I'll take you for a ride on my big green tractor...

Love it!

Easy one for me.

I'd been dating a EHarmony chica for several months, and it was a LDR as she lived up in the mts. east of Bakersfield, where "Country" is the musical coin of the realm. Buck Owens his self used to own station KUZZ.

This is upbeat, funny, catchy and fun. Perfect for when all is going well; Enough agree that even now it's #1 on the Country charts. (Even my pal on here, user name "DAC830" on here has it as her "mood" below her avatar....

Billy Currington, "People Are Crazy"

This old man and me
Were at the bar and we
Were havin’ us some beers and
Swappin’ I don’t cares
Talkin’ politics
Blonde and redhead chicks
Old dogs and new tricks and
Habits we ain’t kicked

We talked about Gods grace
And all the hell we raised
Then I heard the old man say,
“God is great, beer is good and People Are Crazy”

He said "I fought two wars,
Been married and divorced"
What brings you to Ohio?
He said "Damn if I know"
We talked an hour or two
About every girl we knew
What all we put ‘em through
Like two old boys will do

We pondered life and death
He light a cigarette
He said "These damn things will kill me yet,
But God is great, beer is good and people are crazy"

Last call its 2:00am
I said goodbye to him
I never talked to him again

Then one sunny day
I saw the old man’s face
Front page Obituary
He was a millionaire he
He left his fortune to
Some guy he barely knew
His kids were mad as hell
Huh but me, I’m doing well
And I drop by today
To just say thanks and pray
And I left a six-pack right there on his grave
And I said God is great, beer is good and people are crazy

God is great, beer is good and people are crazy
God is great, beer is good and people are crazy

Nice video, too.

This is one of the weird questions I posted before I even thought of my own answer, believe it or not

I LOVE music, pretty much any genre, except gangsta rap with a lot of swearing - it make my head hurt. Other than that, it depends on my mood, really.

I noticed that, for some weird reason, I find myself humming the tune of Marche Turque by Mr Mozart, when I'm really happy and uplifted. Strange because this Amadeus dude is not one of my favorite composers, and never has been.

I feel peacefully romantic listening to the theme music from the Godfather (I know ). The version by Slash is absolutely amazing!

The theme from the Love Story is probably the only song that can bring tears to my eyes.

Some dates make me feel like I have a Phantom of the Opera inside my mind, for real!

Then there are others that force me to sing I Will Survive inside my head, very loudly.

When I'm feeling sentimental, MJ's Do You Remember the Time... love it!

Basically, the conclusion is that I love too many songs to list here, and my favorite song of all times does not even fit the subject of this thread - it's a little sad and not romantic, and this tread is supposed to be HAPPY!

Mariah Carey's "Emotions." Why? Because it's so delightful!

Chorus:
You've got me feeling emotions
Deeper than I've ever dreamed of
You've got me feeling emotions
Higher than the heavens above

Actually, if i want to be sentimental on a date, Johnny Reid has some good songs. He also has some songs that are great for partying to. I love dancing so anything that gets me up on the floor on a date (hopefully with someone who likes to dance, otherwise I'm on my own).
