I am dating this man 57y/o he is just the perfect guy any women dream of!... He is a charm, down to earth, loves helping people. he tells me he is a single parent raised his daughter age 23 now. all by himself. He told me he has never been married. We have been dating for 10 months I met his daughter she seems to be nice, I also met his only sister and some of his immediate family members. very nice people. The one thing that bothers me is: as long as we have dated, until now he has never ask me to come over his house. this really bothers me very much.. I want to confront him about it but I do not know how?.. I want him to be the one to bring this up. He tells me about his house and that he is working to remodel the bathroom the kitchen etc etc. I give him ideas about it. we talk about his neighbors etc etc I do know his address and sometimes I want to just come and knock on his door but I do not want to be dissapointed if I see something I may not wish to find out. I am very sensitive and very afraid to be hurt. at what point should I bring this subject? Thank you for Your feedback.

Most anything someone can tell you would be purely speculative. I would agree that 10 months is a good while, you may want to tell him that you are concerned about his reluctance.

Sorry, but the odds are he is married and does not want you meeting the wife – for obvious reasons!

This is a tough one. I don't agree that he's married, after all, he wouldn't introduce you to family members if he had a wife, right?

Taking what you said, my guess would be he's probably trying to pretty up the place before you see it. He obviously trusts you and you respect him, otherwise you would have driven by to see if there was evidence of multiple human occupants.

Ask him (in person) how the remodeling is coming along and tell him you'd love to see it and would he mind if you stopped over Saturday. If he hems and haws, quickly say you don't mind if it's a little disheveled. If he still seems to make excuses, I'd drop it, but you might then want to reconsider that drive by...
