Went out with a guy from EH a few times, a few months ago. After these few dates, I didn't feel any sizzle from him, and I take it he felt the same, as I never heard from him. Until yesterday.

Yesterday, he calls me out of the blue. I was startled, but initially thought....well, maybe I'll give it another chance. I asked him about a trip he had taken right after we last saw each other, and after telling me all about it, he asked me about my trip to Phoenix. Um, I haven't been on a trip to Phoenix.

He then said, "well didn't you want to get together for a glass of wine?" and I told him that we've already had a glass of wine. Several, in fact.

It finally dawned on me, about 15 minutes into the conversation, that he called me by mistake!

So I pointed it out to him; turns out, it was another girl with my name!

He hemmed and hawed, and tried apologizing, and I just said, "No big deal, enjoy your day!"

I hung up and laughed HISTERICALLY!!!

Well...at least you didn't laugh at him on the phone.

People make mistakes sometimes.

I do have to wonder, though, why your number is still in his phone...I'm pretty good about deleting phone numbers of guys I've no plan to see/talk with again.

Opportunity knocked ... and you slept?

Next time, tell him a story! ... "so glad you called ... I was looking forward to ... CENSORED ... erotic ... CENSORED ... wild ... CENSORED ... ect ..."

Why, I'm tired just thinking about it.

Maybe you should go to the gym more often? I hear it works wonders for your stamina!

Some guys never delete a womans number from their phone so that if anyone ever looks it appears that they have lots of girlfriends.

I kind of wondered why he never deleted my # from his phone.

He's an extremely organized executive , very clean-cut, exercises vigorously, regularly. The kind of person who WOULD delete the #'s when they don't want to use them.

Who knows...it was hilarious, but I didn't want him to feel bad, so no, I didn't start laughing till I hung up!

You're a better person than I am, because once I figured it out, I would have ran with for a while with outrageous suggestions. Then, I would have cued him. And after I finished laughing, I would have called him back to apologize. Yeah, I know....I'm such a cad! But you don't get golden moments like that often.
