I've been matched up with several ladies on EH who post pictures of themselves on a cruise ship with the caption "Annual Girl's Cruise". I'm curious to know what thoughts run through a guy's mind when you see that. Positive...negative?

Likewise, for the women I have the following question. If a guy posts pictures of himself in Las Vegas with his buddies in a casino and the caption says "Annual Guy's Trip to Vegas" what thoughts run through your mind? Positvie....negative?

Keep in mind that my question would be in regard to single women and men in their mid to late 30's.

I would assume that he or she was going to take that trip every year.

A lot of guys post photos like that and it really depends on how they look in that photo and what else is in it.

For instance if they all look wasted or surrounded by scantilly clad ladies - not exactly a positive image and makes me think that he is not too bright and perhaps socially inept by posting something like that hoping to attract a woman.

If it's just a group of guys having a good time - no big deal and I don't think much of it. I'll go on girl trips and he'll go on guy trips and I guess we'll both find that acceptable and not get on each other's nerves about it. Ultimately it's not about the trip but the underlying values that the person carries with them.

I never said it was an "Annual EH Girl's Cruise". I said these are matches that I got on EH. I think the pics show my match with her buddies on an annual cruise, meaning they go EVERY year.

I'm not sure why you would be interested in an all girls cruise? I WOULD be interested in an all girl's cruise! I seriously doubt guys would be interested in an EH guy's cruise. We like dem wimmens not the men.

I am not in your age group so maybe my ideas are different. However, the concept doesn't bother me. It is no different than a girl's night out or similar things like that. If the person I am with enjoys going on a cruise every year I will certainly not have any complaints.

Just as long as she doesn't complain about me going to amateur radio conventions and the like (of course in those situations she would be welcome to come along).

Personally, I don't have a problem with the ladies going out on a cruise. I get the impression that the ladies don't like the guys going on a annual trip to Vegas based on my informal poll.

I started the poll after seeing the movie "The Hangover" this past weekend. It got me thinking about some fellas I know who go on an annual golf trip to Vegas and the wild adventures they have.

See, I took that caption differently. I took it to mean that she annually goes with this group of women on a cruise and not that it was a cruise consisting of all women. I also took yeoww's quote the same way--a group of EH women who annually go on a cruise. I find it interesting how we had different perceptions of that.

As for guys going on an all guy trip...I guess it would depend on where they were going and on who was involved on whether or not it bothered me. In a picture, I'd be looking for the same things DancingFool stated.

Similarly, I don't care for it when in all of someone's photos they have a drink in their hand. Also, I'm not real keen on gambling and Vegas.

I already told you...Guy's Annual Trip to Vegas....come on and play along. You will never know for sure "who" is involved. Unless there are pictures. But what about the ones that got erased? Because then there might be a problem. But hopefully not.
