Does dating someone who is appreciably younger than you make you feel older or younger?

Does dating someone appreciably older than you make you feel older or younger?

[however you persoally define 'appreciably older/younger']

I think when I date a guy who is younger makes me feel good.. I don't really know because I have never dated anyone that younger before...So how do we know if they are to young to date?

It goes without saying that people here will answer in their own way...with some coming up with many different possibilities and scenarios.

I prefer around the same age. I want something in common with them, not only "remember that song"? but, being in the same life stage makes me feel best. Don't really want someone closer to my mother's or a daughter's age.

Since my divorce I have only dated younger men (current boyfriend really does not count as he is only one week younger). There has usually been anywhere from 5 years younger to my last boyfriend was 12 years younger. I felt younger but I do overall. I went out on some dates with older men and just was not attracted to them. I was never opposed to dating older men just did not work out that way for me.

My GF is 30 and I am 27. Realy not a factor for me. She is wonderful! I feel happy when I am with her. My overall feeling of my age never enters into it.

OK (getting snippy). The question wasn't what you 'prefer'....but how it makes (or would make) you feel to date someone quite a bit older or younger.
