I have run across several women that have made it clear they were looking for marriage, even as soon as the first date. Felt like a job interview.

Oh yah... women ask me to marry them all the time...

Oh... Was that a serious question?

I can imagine that it has happened... just not to me... I have had women tell me they loved me before I've said anything... does that count?

No, but here it comes -
Can-Could-Will-Would you marry me? On the Moon, of course, with a Wedding Cake made of Ice Cream.

I'll even let you pick some of the layered flavors of that cake, as long as I get a 2-3kt diamond ring in 18kt white gold as an engagement

What do you say?

Pssst. The diamond can be cz but round and brilliantly cut, the gold has to be white-alloyed but real. I just like the symbolism of it.

Here's my question to your question...Do guys want to be asked ??? What do you give a guy if he says yes, a ring, or a necklace or what??

Like if it's the girl who says 'Yes" you give a ring, so what do you give a guy??

Just wondering....

I have a friend whose girlfriend (well, now wife) proposed to him, and she gave him a sterling silver ring that suited his personality and style.

Yeah, I had one of those recently. Funny thing is we had a really nice chemistry. She had just turned 37 and I knew that's something she definitely wanted to work towards.
