I've met plenty of them, it's common unfortunately! Even their profile usually says they go to the gym etc. perhaps they are going to the gym and hanging out at the snack shop there? I don't know.

I had a fix-up blind date by a gal at work with a friend of hers who looked like Miss Piggy.

GliderPilot had a funny story about being matched with a really heavy lady that did not look like anything in her pictures.

I met four guys from eharmony in total and I have to say, I was more impressed in person by all of them - even the first one that poofed on me. lol!

Ha! Ha! That was brilliant, Ms. Fusion. And here I have been wondering about your state of mind since you choose the alien! He! He! (Totally kidding LSS - wherever you are.)

Yea! What is it with women and posting pictures when they were 20. Just post up to date pics so you don't waste everyone's time. Fortunately, I have been lucky.. still waiting for that fateful evening though....I know its going to happen. I must prepare myself!

Guys do it too, Shads. I met a guy who said he loved to hike in the mountains; when I met him he was probably 15 years older than his photo and was quite tubby. He admitted he hadn't hiked for many years! And said his photo was only 3 years old!?!
