Well, I spent the afternoon cleaning out my garage (I am moving next week). So, I'm looking forward to a long, hot shower!!! And then, I need to come up with dessert for our family BBQ tomorrow. Any suggestions?

P.S. Happy early 4th of July everyone!

I plan on either going to the gym or taking the dogs out for a walk, the puppy needs to get out for his first walk . Then continue my venture with my mother (thank goodness she doesnt have to work tonite) to the grocery store, and turn on the oldies, mix some drinks, have the cousins come over and cook, cook, cook! Its Fourth Of July weekend...I want to make sure that there is more than enough food to bring to parties or to snack on at the house, also making sure the house is clean as we will probably have people comming in and out with the block partys going on.

You could make what I'm making...

tear up angel food cake into small pieces and put in a dish, if you have glass, that's best and it looks beautiful.

Put in a layer of banana or vanilla pudding. Then alternate layers of strawberries, bananas and blueberries.

Keep putting these ingredients in layers until you get to the top of the dish

Then add whipped cream as the last layer. Tastes great, looks great and is very easy!

If you make this for a party with no kids, you can add some Drambuie
Hmmm... sounds good! Thank you!

Pavlova! It's delicious and really easy to make. A meringue base topped with whipped cream and yummy summer fruits.

Here are some ideas:
1.)Homemade Ice Cream
2.)Ambrosia Salad
3.)Fresh Fruit Tray
4.)Angel food cake,whip cream,blue berries,strawberries...(Red,White,and Blue).
5.)Pudding Parfaits

I don't know if communicating with several FCW matches is considered exciting but that is what I have been doing for the past two hours.
