Gentlemen wear t-shirts:
To capture perspiration
So - as someone else said - to keep hair and other things from showing through
To protect the shirt from being stained.
OK, but if its an 'under garment' type Tshirt, worn for these reasons, why is it showing?

If its not an undershirt... and its a part of the overall look/ensemble... then, to me, it would depend on the entire ensemble and style.

Or even if its just a Tshirt, worn alone, again, it depends on the overall style and complete ensemble.

I personally prefer a v-neck, but it's not that big a deal overall...however I'm kinda creeped out by guys who wear big gold chains around their neck...

I like the regular neck T-shirt. There is something that is weird about that V neck thing!

Dennis,
I really think you should gauge the neckline depending on the weather. If it is chilly outside, then I would go with the higher neck...if you are not afraid of showing a little cleavage when it is chilly outside, then go with the v-neck....
Seriously now, my Wisconsin cheesemate, with all of the more pressing questions you should be concerned with....like what kind of beer goes best with brats...I am surprised you are even worried about fashion in this day and age...

V-Necks are hands down sexy on a man, showing with great arms and maybe a lil chest hair never hurt anyone. Heck V-necks are a part of my pajamas.

ohh... that's what "The Rock" is missing, in that photo. His t-shirt doesn't have a beer logo. I knew something was wrong with him.

Is this a "dating" question?
Hi D_Lion and Everyone,

Nope.

But with all the interesting forums here on Advice, I'm sure DennisWisconsin will find the right place for that disucssion!

But back to the OP...looks like V-necks are doing better!

All the best,
