I had to share what a wonderful first and second date I had this weekend - Sorry this might be a little long but wow what a GREAT weekend!!!
So here is what happend. I met this guy on line on tuesday, we met for coffee on thrusday - talked for 3 hours, set up our real first date for Friday-

So I met him friday at the resturant for dinner as we were talking he mentioned that it was the final Stanley cup game and he might get a couple of texts just letting him know what the score was, I did not know that the final game was going to be on and I knew he was a big hockey fan from our converstion before. We were supposed to go see a 7:10 show and I recommended we catch the later show and go to a sports bar and watch the game.. so we did... I have never really watched Hockey but we had a really great time during the game YEA!! then we went and saw our movie. And when he dropped me off at my car we set up a second date for Sunday.

Sunday I met him at his place at 10am, he gave me a tour of the complex where he lives, it was beautiful - he showed me around the skyway talked about the architechture and history of the buildings It was very interesting, we walked downtown to the farmers market just having a great time then to Breakfast at a really cute resturant. We continued to walk around checked out Rasperry Island then around Harriet Island and back thru downtown to candyland and back to his place where I left at 2:30. It was the most perfect date I have ever had. A Great Weekend.

I would love to hear what other peoples idea of a great date is.

Glad to hear that you had a great date. Sounds like he lives in a really awesome place. Best wishes with him and future dates.

As for me, the idea of a perfect date includes an afternoon of antiquing, dinner at a little cafe, a movie at Alamo Drafthouse or Magnolia in Dallas (where they show independent films). Then perhaps afterwards seeing a live band some place (in Austin that is easy any night of the week in any number of establishments).
