about how "sexy" they are... or about how "good looking" they are? It suggests low self-esteem on their part, like they have nothing else to discuss about what they have going for them other than good genetics.

Besides, you're supposed to post photos. Let your match decide whether they find you "sexy". speaking of which... those ridiculous glamor and bikini pics (with a camera closeup of the barely covered breasts) are a turnoff... this is supposed to be a site for people who are serious about finding a long term relationship, not a weekend fling.

Guys do this too and pose shirtless or with dead animals. Cuts both ways.

men do it too, and it's odd either way, but i wouldn't make an assumption that they have low self esteem because of it. maybe it's the opposite.

FWIW, sexy is a state of mind, and less about what you look like. *shrug

Your comment made me smile. I've seen a few of those photos of a guy with his shirt off - it tells me right away that he's not the kind of man I'm looking for. I'm looking for a relationship, not a "party" man.

This could be a really fun thread

I've noticed more and more women in their profiles are taking pictures with themselves standing next to a tree, or holding onto a tree, or sitting in a tree, or pulling down the branches, etc.

What is it about trees? Is there a new symbology that I'm not getting

I guess I'm just getting old (and conservative) because to me the best picture is where she is just natural. She's wearing similar to what she would on an everyday basis, and she is not trying to pose.

Have to totally agree with you one this one! Is this what they think all guys want?.. You can see pictures of all this anywhere! I want to see a woman's face, maybe full length shot in a nice outfit, Got to wonder what she's
selling there? Just looks desperate to me.

I agree it seems like a self esteem issue.Or an "I Party" statement. However, there is that thing about guys being visual..............Doesn't seem to matter on mine,I have an "everyday" pic and have very few responses.Go figure.
A question in the same vain...Why do so many of my matches pose with kids/grandkids?
TREES ? AHhahahaha,that could be a bit...suggestive !!!
