Bad grammar and spelling are always a horrid start, but the following make me just do a facepalm.

I lost count of how many matches used these same answers. I'm sure some men are just as guilty from what I've read on here. Some of the questions on the profile only offer canned answers so you can't really blame the person for the lack of poor choices.

"mountain biking" is right up there for me with mention of "beaches." so is "honesty" and "i'm tired of playing games."

just stuff so stock we could replace you with a cardboard cut-out and not notice.

There is one profile I saw last night where this engineer listed that he was most grateful for " a. b. c." ????

Any profile where the answers to each questions are about one-word, & the don't have a photo-nothing like giving away the farm, there. Really going out on a limb. It's so arrogant to think anyone would even respond to that. Wow, I feel like opening up to this Una-bomberesque guy now!

The worst profile I ever saw was this tattoed, tongue-ringed, metal guy-liner guy with one word answers for the whole thing like: Committment. Not cheating. Being faithful.

For likes, it was Movies, films. (ahem.... ).

No issues there.

I dislike the ones that go mention their kids in every one, and every photo, too. We get it-love me, love my kid. What are YOU personally like, though? I still don't know anything about YOU. One pic of your kid is enough. One mention of your kid is enough. It's... not a trip to Chuck E. Cheese (hopefully). If it is, good luck getting some action out of that! LOL (hint: that's where MOMMY goes)

Or the ones where every answer relates to being fit, working out, looking for a fit girlfriend-and all their photos are shirtless. Why didn't they just meet someone at the gym? I want to see a "No Fat Chicks" bumpersticker on those. Whatever you're into, fine, but it's so obviously an obsession that they're trying to be PC about, & it's hilarious. It's like, dude, you're %$^% shallow. Now go date an aerobics instructor and accept your path, Braaaah.

Just some stuff I've noticed. I've only been on a month and I think it's just like the real world. Without being in a bar. Oh, well.

What turns me right off is a lack of creativity and humor...i.e., a boring profile. Along the same lines is someone who uses one or two word responses in the open box fields. eH gives the chance to write a little something about yourself to shine and stand out, and some people don't take it.

Did I mention that I enjoy sipping wine by the fire and taking long walks on the beach or in the woods... Does anyone have popcorn that I can have with my whine.

Hahaha..........this is funny guys! It does drive me crazy when you read the same answers in every profile. In the 'Last Book I Read', the guys seem to go from reading the Shack (haven't checked this one out yet, but it is very popular) to I don't have time to read (so if you don't have time to read, when would you work a WOMAN into your life??)
Someone else mentioned grammar.......if a guy, or girl struggles with grammar or spelling - use speelcheck (oooh sorry, I meant spell check), or ask a friend to help......you are laying your life out there, to make an impression. And I don't think you have to be Noah Webster, Shakespeare or even college grad either, right?
The other area that I am not sure how to get a grip on is the whole
'work out' thing. There does seem to be a w i d e gap between guys who work out 8 days a week, several hours a day and the guys who think 'being athletic' means you can hit the trash can with your beer bottle on the 1st throw............isn't there a happy medium?
