Hello gents,

So I'm tall. I'm 5'9" and I like to wear heels on occasion. My only dating dealbreaker is that a man is taller than me - like 5'11" or taller - it's just a comfort thing. But I do wonder about what tall guys think... is a girl's height a factor?

FYI.... I'm in good shape, I'm personable (so I've been told) and I promise my heels are totally worth it and fashionable (more for me than you, I realize that).

My question is purely physical - do tall guys prefer girls who are more "normal" and petite? Is a tall girl a turnoff?

I'm tall myself, and I found that I was more attracted to taller women. I mean, seriously, being 6'3", I'm not going to be attracted to the 5'2" girls. But that's just me. So to answer your question, this tall guy prefers taller girls (and yes, my girlfriend is also tall ^_^ ).

Although I am also tall (6'2), I've dated mostly short women (5'4 and below). I prefer my women to be at least 5'2, but I generally don't use a woman's height as a dealbreaker.

I fail to meet your height requirements, but I honestly don't care how tall a woman is. I don't need a woman shorter than me to make me feel like a man nor do I feel emasculated by a woman taller than me.

Everyone is different. The right guy is going to find your 5'9" very attractive. For me personally I would see your height as a definite minus.

But the 5'2" girls are going to be attracted to you.

At almost 6' 2" I meet your height requirements. I require my woman to have size D or bigger breasts. Do you meet those requirements?

When people have requirements like that how does it make you feel?

I'm not the OP, but let's face it, everyone has SOME sort of requirements. Don't have to like it, but I'd rather know them upfront...

I'm a 5'10" woman myself...I don't require that a man be taller than me (with or without heels)...but I do want someone that is comfortable with my height. And while I've heard some people accuse women of being shallow for wanting a man taller than them -- that also makes the assumption that all men are comfortable dating a woman who is taller. I know my height can be a put-off to some men -- so I think that is more what the poster is referring to.

No, tall women are great!

Average female runway & print models are around 5'8"-5'9".
