Was it just me or was this weekend REALLY short / fast?!

Oh well -- who had a date this weekend and how did it go?

I meet Mr. eHarmony #3 this weekend. It was nice. Which means notta in my books. First dates are always nice. It's the second or third that brings out all the skeletons. ha ha.

My date was scheduled Sat, but he called Thurs. We met up, he was a nice guy. Conversation was slow, but steady. Found out his license is suspended until October because of DUI's. Occasionally I caught a whiff of alcohol on his breath (we were outside a starbucks...so no alcohol around).

Then he wanted to go for a walk. During the walk he kept leaving me behind.

So all in all...not a great date. Oh, even had to pay for my own coffee because he was late.

le sigh.

Yet another outstanding date yesterday. Went to a service at the National Cathedral, then went to Mount Vernon, had lunch there, then toured the place, then went to have dinner with some friends at a nice Italian place.

Was another great weekend, and yes it did seem very fast. Saturday we went to an air show where they flew some WWII airplanes and we took the kids. It was a hot day but we had a good time. Sunday was a drive up into the mountains and a quiet picnic for two. Very relaxing. All in all it was a wonderful weekend.

I went out with an eHarmony match on Friday. Unfortunately though I thought she was great and wanted to see her again she did not feel the same. Well I will move on to the next meeting. You have to keep at it.

Best,

Ohh! I am so excited, I had a great date on Sunday. We met up for lunch and ended up sitting at the restaurant talking for 3 hours. He has already asked me out for next weekend. Possibly baseball game Looking forward to it.
