I wasn't planning on contacting him, but the temptation is there. Though I will refrain. I'm curious though...if he doesn't contact while gone, but once he comes back...what's your opinion?

My word of caution would be that what burns fast initially fizzles just as abruptly, so do be cautiously optimistic.

The biggest red flag that I see is that he is not going to contact you for the duration of this business trip. That is actually very very strange. I usually end up dating men who have busy carreers, but when they are interested, they'll find a way to say "hello" to you no matter how hectic their work schedule or where they happen to be traveling. Now I'm not talking about daily contact, but I'm talking about consistent and regular contact within reason. Even if it's just a quick e-mail or text or a phone call that lasts all of two minutes. Kind of makes me wonder if he is either just looking for a very casual thing.

Then respond to him and let him ask you on another date.

One thing I have learned from people with very successful careers is that usually one of the main reasons they are much more successful than others is because they are used to sacrifice their personal lives for their careers, so they are not usually the types who are very much in tune with their emotion. So I personally do not expect anyone who is very successful to go head over heels over someone they have just met twice. And for an LTR, I actually prefer someone like that because if one could fall for me easily, then to me the chance of him falling for another person is probably high too.

So don't contact him and just go out and enjoy your time with him if he contacts you and asks you for another date when he comes back. However, do not make him your priority until he does the same to you. Basically, as long as you have not met anyone else to be exclusive with and not investing your emotion in him, why not have fun with him in the mean time? It may or may not develop into something serious, but as long as you don't keep your hopes up, you at least have had a great time.

From what we talked about, he works and is starting his own company, so I know he's busy and don't expect him to be head over heels w/me in just 2 dates (though it would be nice! lol). A short hello or something would be nice, then again it's only been 4 days so...

Still keeping my options open and communicating with other men.

Wasn't that he couldn't say how I looked, I received plenty of comments through out the night. He said he couldn't comment about how the ticket lady looked.
Either way, it still sounded a bit odd to me.

I have to agree with the other no calls, texts or emails seems strange to me. If he is a business man like he says would he not have his laptop with him, and all hotels have internet. From my experience... when a man wants to make contact he does.

I hope he is the dream man you have been waiting for. I am also glad you are keeping your options open.

I wish you good thing to come.
