I've got a bone headed story 2 tell ya. Kinda heads up if u will.
Recently, I was in open communication w/someone on eHarmony. He gave
me his phone #, I said I'd call the next day, which I did. But when I
did, my cell phone kept dropping the call (which is rare in the area
I live in). Even my daughter's and son's phones were dropping calls
that day for some wierd reason. I could hear him on the other end of
the phone saying "Hello, hello? Can u hear me? Hello?" I thought
maybe he's was messing w/me, so I started 2 humor him and talk, but
apparently, he really couldn't hear me. Bad signal. 3 times in a row.
It finally rolled over 2 his voice mail. I left him a message, texted
him and emailed him on eHarmony again 2 let him know, my phone was acting
up (or if he was messing w/ me, I'd sure appreciate knowing, cuz it
sure seemed like it was my phone). He responded by closing the match.
..reason being: "I'm persuing another relationship" and the famed
"other". What a bone head! People, listen 2 me. Modern technology
fails us. IM's get interupted by internet storms, maybe dial up
fails, etc, computers crash, whatever. And cell phones occasionally
get bad signals and drop calls. Bad timing, fo sho, and obviously if
this guy was that much of a jerk as 2 not even take that into consideration,
I wouldn't want anything 2 do w/him anyway. Just had 2 spout a bit.
Seemingly perfect match interupted by the wonders of our limited
modern technolgy.

That's very odd indeed. He's obviously unstable if such a simple (and common) thing caused him to lose his temper and close the communication. Be thankful you discovered this volatility early on... before the two of you met in-person and got serious.
