I don't see it as clever or humorous either, bigfincat, but I decided to play along as some of the others suggested and try to write a silly response back. I wrote back to him, "Well, Mr. X, if I had to write a letter to Dear Abby about our first meeting, you'd be in big trouble (wink, wink). Most people write to her when they have a problem. Hopefully I wouldn't need to do that."

And guess what? Not a peep from him since. Guess it was a trick question and I gave the wrong answer. Oh well. He sounds like an odd duck to me. No big loss there.
