Went to visit my dad in the nursing home and took pizza, Coke and some candy for him. We ate the pizza in his room, then went to the dining hall for bingo. I won the very last round and my prize was a bag of Lay's chips What is not to love?? I love Lay's chips and had a great time with my dad! I will however admit to missing a good ole night out with margaritas & dancing but there's time for that some other day.

I will try to learn what one new button does.

Shoud I start in sequence, with the little man with the shovel, or take them randomly?
Well ... what'd you find out?

The dinner part sounds nice but Angels & Demons may be a bit intense for me.

The movie was good, but not great. I'd read the book so I knew what was going to happen, but it was nice to go out and do something

I went to the grocery store and spent about $180 and picked up pizza for me and the kids. And went by Blockbuster and rented "Milk."

I'm a teacher and school is almost out and I am soooooo tiiireeeeesddddd. I plan on going to bed pretty soon because I'm just beat! No date this weekend.

Tomorrow, I want to just relax. Do laundry and clean. That is all.

Home inspector left just a while ago. Have had 3 offers on my home. Finally going to break outta here and start life anew.

Oh, for me... 2 glasses (or was it 3) of Shiraz-Cabernet
Great news on the offers! I'm assuming you are going to accept one ... always nice to have a bidding war

I'm waiting for D_Lion's report, as well.

Have just emerged from the basement--sirens went off just before sunset--friend and I tore down the road in our cars to hide them in the deck at the hospital so the hail wouldn't make them look like a hundred tiny gypsies in stilettos tap-danced on the hood--never really wanted to find out what "golf ball sized" hail looks like.
Back home to get katz in basement, grab a bottle of wine and a pizza, and listen to the squall lines roar by over the course of the night--while revisiting the "Bourne Supremacy". Ahhh....

Quiet now, and we're all upstairs again.

Brewers and Cards had to postpone tonight, and looks like Cubbies had the same problem. This division is HOT, so the delay makes it even crazier, doesn't it, VB_Girl? ;-)

I had a very fun night at the Lip Sync fund raiser, laughs and dancing.

First I went dateless to a production of the play "Bad Dates", the last event before the permanent closing of the Foothill Theatre (snif)

Then I went home and after that I cleaned the bugs out of the air filter housing and changed the breather box air filter on the Mercedes and put in a couple of quarts of oil too.

Is that anything like Karaoke? Doing it for a good cause sounds like it would be fun!
