Well talking is a start....as you should first know if they are bf/gf material for you. Just because they are good for someone doesn't mean they are right for you.


Start up a conversation....see where it goes...ask if they are dating someone if they are what you are looking for.

You don't know initially. But some things that might give you a clue - do you get along with them? Can you have a good, fun, interesting conversation with them? Do you have things in common? Do you *like* them as a person? Are you attracted to them?


That's a start to catching the idea that they might fit the bill. Then of course, there's the flip side to this... they have to consider that you fit the bill for THEM as well.

I would have to start by saying KNOWING what you want in your BF/GF that will set a guidline and then follow your heart. A person that can make you enjoy life and bring a smile is a winner. Always looking at the present and let bring each day bring it's own, as time progresses you will determine the rest. =)
