I saw the same program. Just had to shake my head and ask "what was she thinking?" It seemed the $$$ signs that she was seeing got in the way of her better judgement. While the guy is a sleaze, she is to blame too - she's hardly a victim.

I've never watched Family Guy. Am I missing out?

I just got done watching the story on Dateline about women who not only got involved emotionally before meeting their internet interest but sent them tens of thousands of dollars. ??? Is itmore ofa crime to take money from stupid people or is it more of a crime tobeso stupid? Who should really be locked up here?

Sorry for the mean humor... Iblame it on watching marathon sessions of "Family Guy"...

Which brings up a secondary question... Are people who watch "Family Guy" datable?

I can't even address the first question, I can't imagine anyone being that gullible these days.

As for your 2nd question, I would advise you to keep your tv tastes to yourself while you are in the still shopping stage of dating. I know that the average family has more than one tv set in the house, and so love can overcome differences of tv tastes. However, I have to admit, I have already closed matches based on the fact that they said they can't live without Fox news or loved Bill O'Reilly's latest book.

- I'm not interested in getting in a debate about tv tastes here, just pointing out, shows that are more likely to ellicit negative reactions, are best kept to oneself if you want to get more dates. But if you don't agree, feel free to leave them on your profiles fellas... It just helps me weed you out faster! ha.

Only if a one year old baby with an adult imagination intrigues you... ewe... that doesn't even sound good to me now... 4 shows on tonight... The baby by the way has something of a British accent...

I watched half the show last night and will finish it today. I thought the same thing -- how stupid can you be. For one thing this lady here has taken care of enough men in her life financially and I will not do it again. As for getting emotionally involved. I think the main thing we need to remember that love is not a feeling--I think it is a commitment. That is why we can love our children unconditionally. Now I do believe passion and lust are feelings and that is where we need to learn to be careful.
I think that for some people lonliness is also a driving force...

Since I don't own a TV, do you mind buying me one (lol) ...

It has nothing to do with 'Family Guy', it has everything to do with people's stupidity!

What? Do I have "Free TV" written on my forehead or something?

I don't start getting emotionally involved with a man until we've been on a few dates...usually after the first kiss. Definately wouldn't be sending him any money.

For the record, I love Family Guy and am watching it now actually...

I'm watching it too! Does that mean we needhumor counseling?

No way...people who haven't seen Family Guy don't know what they're missing and for those that don't get it...they are just missing out or don't know funny when they see it! Just kidding!

Either way, I think I'm datable.

I'm thinkin your good...

Yes, you have to check out Family Guy. I find it pretty funny although the humor is a little crude for some people.
