This is actually multiple part question. Is it common for men to simply not call a girl after a fourth date (or more)if he's not interested in seeing her again? I kind of expect for a guy to not call a girl back if the first date did not go well, but the fourth?I admit I didn't get the feeling that the fourth date didn't go as well as the others, but it was fun and I asked him if he still wanted to pursueseeingwhere this goes and he said yes. Also, I texted him when I got home and saidI would like to see him again if he was up for it and wished him a good night and thankyou for the date. He seconded my thoughts. I didn't hear anything from him.Seems a bit rude to me, but I've heard it happen to other women before. Do men consider this acceptable behavior and the guy I was seeing was not out of line? Should I only expect an explanation if we've decided to become exclusive?


I've noticed that he hasn't actually "closed" me. Is this typical on eH? I figured at least he would hit the close button, but is he just expecting me to?


Also, so should I have not texted after the date?


Funny, how I've never really had dating issues since attempting it online, but I guess I just need to pick them better.

A decent guy would not do this...So no, in my opinion, it is not acceptable.





I enjoy getting a text (and I'm 47) after my dates, so I feel you made no mistake there.





He either has someone else and can't bring himself to call or text and admit that or is playing some game with you. That he hasn't 'closed' you could also be a sign of this.





Your post did not say if you have made a text or call and left a voice mail that has gone unasnwered, but you could out of concern.
