That is interesting... I used to work in the "scenting" industry too butin a little different way. Iinstalled equipment onto the central air handling systems of casino's and spas to get rid ofmake them more appealing to customers...

One thing a lot of people don't know is that you only smell a scent for about fifteen minutes and then your nose - olfactory - becomes used to it so it doesn't register anymore.

i can smell a drop at 20 paces, i'm pretty sensitive. i go to the movies and hold a handkerchief over my nose and mouth the entire time. i'd have to leave a date if the guy wore cologne. i took my boss' cologne, soaps, detergents and air freshners away from him.

all synthetic perfumes and colognes are endocrine-disrupting, cancer causing substances. if you work in the food industry, you are not allowed to use them for reasons of safety and sanitation.

So did you have any chance to use Perry Ellis 360 yet? LOL. I forgot to mention that I love Polo Black on a guy too. You got that?
That's what I'm wearing now. Though I like the regular (green) more, I think.

I find the green one to be a bit too much for me and my nose. LOL. But you have the black one too so it's all good

When I was in college I dated a guy who wore the green one. sigh. I used to follow guys across campus simply because they had it on.

I was late for a lot of classes.

Acqua di Gio has that effect on me now. :-)

I've always been curious if your date's cologne is a significant factor in what you think of him. I do wear designer cologne and I have found that it is enjoyable towards my date. Still curious if this gives a man an "edge" or not...

Ladies... your thoughts?

P.S Yes, I agree...don't bath in the cologne either.. LOL I spray it up in the air and walk through it... I find that is the best way.
I like the smell of cologne as long as it isn't too over powering. It doesn't really give a man an edge since I'm looking for something more than his cologne, but smelling good never hurts.

Acqua Di Gio cologne doesn't do anything for me but its deodorant does. Kind of weird.

I prefer dates don't wear cologne. It's usually too strong for me. I wear minimal perfume, if any. I like the idea that one should only wear enough cologne for their own noses... or for someone I want right up against me
