If there is not much info, someone might make assumptions that someone who makes 22,000 never did anything with his life (he could be in school, an activist, etc) most people would assume anyone that lists their income as 22,000 is either working part-time or severely limited in his life choices, and that tends to not be attractive to MOST people that are adults and dating.

Personally, I dont list my income on dating sites and prefer when men don't list theirs either.
Funny, if a woman makes $23K, do you think men would care? Do you think MOST PEOPLE would assume she's a loser?

Funny how that works.

No matter how much women say to the contrary, THEY CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY A MAN MAKES.

Money defines men in society, it does not define women. You blantantly said it, most people see a guy who ONLY makes $23K as a loser. IN YOUR OWN WORDS.

yes, I think there area good number of men that would wonder about a girl that only makes 23K.....and obviously ones that would prefer it, maybe to protect their own egos or something... I dont know, don't udnerstand.

I don't find the results surprising at all. So what? It took a study to figure out that Women are attracted to a man with money? Given that there was very little else to go on other than a pic and a salary, why wouldn't the women pick the money?

I doubt it. FWIW, $23K in my state now is a very good income, mainly because were in a depression. Just throwing that out there.

But women are given the latitude of "being what they want". So if they are making $10/hr as an adminstrative assistant or she's doing charity, no one cares what she makes. Ultimately in traditional relationships, she's going to be a mommy, that's all that matters.

So if some guy is making little money but doing what he loves, he's not fulfilling his role as the bread winner. And even if women say they don't care, they do. And frankly I'm kind of sick of women denying it.

As a guy, you date enough women that say they don't care, but if you aren't making the cash you'll hear it from the woman EVENTUALLY or you'll hear it from her family and friends.

what if a woman had a ton of debt? would you still be okay with the fact she only made 23k a year? would you marry into that debt and be okay with her just being a "mommy" and quitting her job?

I would absolutely care, and I would consider her a “loser” unless there was a good reason: student, working in an unpaid position temporarily, or an entrepreneur. For me to be interested in her, she would still have to display the motivations and work effort associated with professionals.

All that said, I do not expect I would make a commitment (which involved financial exposure on my part) until she resolved the situation. I would also not fund her; a minimum standard I establish for all partners is that she self-funds her lifestyle and desires.

Men care about women’s achievements, and women care about men’s looks. The range of individual variation in men and women is great.

As much as we pretend otherwise, guys overall value physical appearance, whereas women value a guy's ability to be a provider.

A big part of being a provider is making enough money, but it's also not being careless with your money.

OK cp30 here is the linkhttp://www.oprah.com/article/oprahsh...le-sex-study/7

For me as a man, without knowing personality I rate attractiveness on looks. However, the more money a woman makes above a certain point the LESS attracted I am to her.
I went looking for the guys's pictures
