Several posters, including me, have been using eHarmony off/on for a couple years without success. Is it possible we were in a different state of mind a couple years ago and our "29 points" have changed? If so, how do we re-take the eH test??

Actually....I have to wonder if I paid for 2 separate accounts and answered all the questions very differently......if both the accounts would still get pretty much the same matches.

JayJay – yes, I would bet (which undermines the following.)

Treat me Sweetly – you can. Call eHarmony up to find out how.

This has come up a number of times in the "Using EHarmony" forum. Just call customer service and let them know that you would like to retake the test (something I've been meaning to do, too!).

Contact eH.

From eH Customer Care:

"I would like to recommend that you consider retaking your Relationship Questionnaire. With six PhD Psychologists constantly working to improve our matching process, we want you to have the most up to date version we can provide. We understand that often peoples’ goals, interests, and desires change over time and updating the Questionnaire will help you ensure that you are being matched with the most compatible individuals for you at this time. I dunno - is it a problem with the "test" or is it just edating in general? Another poster got me thinking about edating tonight and I dunno - it just is not for me. I like getting an idea of the person before I know if I am interested in dating them and I just don't feel I get that from edating or the steps leading up to it. But then again, how else do we find other eligible singles? *shrug*

Ah, sorry - should have clarified my statement find other singles in the real world . I think I am going to stick to my dream that one day I can say, "...And I just knew when I opened the door and he said those words....."Delivery". And when I am in a real amibition mood I will dream he is delivering my favorite take-out!

I know what you mean, Lizzie. I'm not a good match for it either -- I just find it very difficult to get much of a sense of whether I would like to meet someone just from his profile. And, judging from how infrequently a match ever contacts me, I don't present myself that well, either...lol (of course, most of my matches never even get as far as viewing my profile)...Oh well!

Oh, and when I am really dreaming about my perfect delivery guy with my perfect take-out food he might sometimes morph into some of you guys here!!
