This is to the females,but I'm sure the guys can weigh in on this too. Why when someone sends you 1st questions do you look at the persons profile and don't either answer the questions or at least close the match if you're not interested? This has happened about 4 or 5 times since I have been on here,about 1 month.

Good chance they searched under the sofa cushion and still could not find the money to buy the service.

It could be that they are non-paying members as D_Lion suggests. It also could be that they are at some point of communication with another match and don't want to start with you until they have a feel for where the other match is going.

Many women might not want to admit it but they do, I find that a lot of my female friends do not like to seem as if they are shallow as men (or so they tell me)





I am more realistic and I do look at the profile to see if the person is potentially a match I would be interested in because if not...I am not likely to pursue the communication. I guess it comes down to ensuring that your about me profile really reflects who you are as inevitably you will be judged by it.

You're right about that,but that doesn't explain why the match wasn't closed.

This happens with both male and female matches and I think the general conclusion that it is non-paying members that cannot reply is probably correct in mostcases. Some instances might be a match that is hesitant to reply fora particular reason.


I suggest that if you havea match you are particularly interested in, leaveher open until the nextfree weekend if there is one during your membership. If the free communicationweekend comes and goes and still nothing, time to close her.

Maybe they get the email and check the profile out on their phone, but can't really do the questions until they get back to a real computer?
