Well, there are heaps of threads on the internet, just do a quick google search and you will find it....

I aim to inform/discuss/put down, what I believe is to be the truth. The difference I aim do is that I will tell the complete truth, whether it be sexist, racist, insulting or just plain rude. I intend to be blatantly honest in an attempt to

Some may ask Why are you allowed to do this? or What would you know? but let me say that I believe that my experiences both personal and professional have allowed me to obtain a very comprehensive view from many different people.

Once again, let me say that, this thread this thread will be brutally honest, maybe insulting, but I believe that it may allow others to openly discuss

Please dont turn this into a flaming or personal attack in order to obtain a frank and productive discussion.
================================================== ==
Stereotypes are a fact of life. New ones are created, existing ones are updated, some are welcomed, some are dismissed, some are harmless, some are offensive. However, my opinion is that it they are based on a high degree of truth. For example, a stereotype that many people can relate to is that, women are shorter then men. True, some women are taller then men, a shorter woman in one country may be taller then most men in another.

When we walk down the street, especially in an area/city that has multiculturalism, we see many inter racial relationships. However, when it comes to Asian people with White women, I see the percentage of Asian Females with White Men ranging from 75% up to 100%, Ill be bold and say the average may be 90% or even 95%, but that is just my personal opinion.

So why this inbalance?? Media stereotype or is there something that makes Asian Females attractive or more attractive or Asian Males less attractive. Regardless of the reason, there is a clear inbalance.

I will keep this short as possible and continue discussions later.

Firstly, one of the stereotypes that Asian Women are easy. Believe it or not, Id find it very difficult to prove however, I think there is a certain degree of truth to this. But what makes this happen?? Culture? Upbringing? Values?
So with this stereotype White Males will/may take advantage of this.

Asian Women are materialistic. Culture? Upbringing? Values? Whether a relationship is seen as a calculated contract/agreement or a bonding of 2 people who are crazy for eachothers personal characteristics. Many marry for money, security and for green cards. It is still acceptable and only slightly frowned upon if a woman marries for money especially an Asian one. So hence Asian women are considered easier and vulnerable. Just go to Thailand and see how many 70 year old frail men with Thai wifes/mistresses in their 20s and 2 kids hanging off each arm. Hence a lot of the more undesirable men of society go for Asian women, hence they are considered easier. Some men go for Asian Women because they have low/no success with their own group and hence they go for the easier option.

Another reason is too many White people, Asians all look the same AND vice versa. Eg if you say to an Indian, that they look Pakistani, it is considered highly offensive, however they can tell the difference. I cant but it doesnt affect the way I judge them.
So to an Asian Person, many white people are tall, built big, brown/blond hair while Asian people are seen as smaller frame, black hair .

So a lot of the time, the Asian girls are often a lot younger, and often the White guys are usually on the undesirable side.

As for the other way around, these are the following stereotypes that I have seen with Asian men

- They are usually geeky nerdy type which doesnt appeal to girls.
- Due to the smaller frame they are often shorter then some White girls and since girls prefer someone who is taller and bigger
- They have small penises (controversial one, but a smaller frame generally means smaller overall)
- Women prefer the guy to be charming, make them laugh, however if there is a language barrier, this is impossible. I mean how many girls would even consider dating a guy whom there is a clear language barrier
- Men find girls who may not be able to communicate a turn on or a sign of cuteness or is just accepted more widely.
- Asian men are aware of these stereotypes and are often either intimidated or shy away from any form of uncomfortable situations
- It is expected that men ask women out, and hence its hard for the men to have any success without asking the girl out
- The media/Hollywood stereotype Asian people
- Some Asian men face the pressure of marrying someone of the same race
- A lot of these rules dont apply to Eurasian people
- Some Asian men will only get a chance if they are extremely wealthy, which will unfortunately bring out the vultures
- Some find white women to be intimidating due to being a bit physically bigger and the image that they are more demanding and harder to maintain

Finally, there have been a lot of stereotypes and potentially offending comments however, the aim was to be honest and frank

Thanks for your multi dimensional post.

This for some reason , maybe some you mentioned seems to be a strange topic.

I myself have always been attracted to Asian men , though not until recently have I really tried to start meeting/dating.

The Asian guys I have met want to know why I would be the slightest bit interested in an Asian guy.

Apparently , Western/American culture has not yet found a category for this , except for the case of

white guys who have "yellow fever" which is pretty much an established fact.

I cannot even count how many white guys I know or who have met who have a thing for Asian Women .

I do think there are some serious gaps when the tables are turned.

There are certainly the physical issues which may throw women off in regards to asian men.

I can name a few.

Asians tend to look younger , are generally smaller in height ( and yes, usually the package) facial expressions are difficult to understand ; the seeming aloof quality etc.

Also , my questions are why would an asian guy be attracted to a non asian woman?

Are we too big , too loud, too self assertive?

Probably , then again people are often attracted to mystery or what is outside their immediate grasp.

I can only say that this all changes and that the idea that most white or other ethnic women only want

big tall hairy macho men , because that is simply NOT true.

Most women I know do not find those qualities attractive at all .

I have checked out some online discussions , but have found that they are mainly geared toward college aged people and I am most definitely outside that realm.

Even when I was in that age group, I never found it the slightest bit interesting.

That is also the issue that seems to keep coming up with relationship and dating forums .

They are mostly geared towards people who are under 26.

Stereotypes seem to be much more pronounced during this point of life ,and I am certainly not part

of that and never have been , even when I was 18 etc.

What is my point here ?

Good question, except that if people are searching they need to start putting themselves out on the line a bit more and be bold enough to proclaim their individuality outside the stereotype, regardless of race ,age and gender.

That is what I am doing and it is scary , but we do what we have to do.

The most expensive stereotype that I'd always drool over is Bang and Olufsen...but I'm ok with a nice Sony or Bose for my TV.
