Say you have been on a couple of dates already and are planning to go somewhere on your next date near your date's house. Would it be OK (or gentlemanly) for that matter to offer to pick her up, or should one wait for her to suggest that? What if she already came over on the prior date to your place.

I don't see any reason not to ask. I've had women pick me up after a couple dates. Just throw it out there and if she's not comfortable, she'll let you know.
