we just started oc. how soon do I respond to emails without sounding desparate but being interested?

Best advice here is to mirror her ...if you send an email and she responds right away, respond back right away ...if she waits a few hours, wait a few hours to respond back.


Replying isn't really a big problem ...it's 1) always initiating and 2) sending multiple emails, or flooding, her with communication be it text, phone calls, or email that get people in trouble.


It's sad that we have to play these games ...but it is what it is.

I usually initiate and then follow bikerbeagles advice. Usually they say I write a lot for a guy, I just respond that I don't play the lets make them wait kinda games. They are usually very receptive but like biker says to much will come off badly.

I always did what I did … which was to reply to messages as soon as I could.


A quick, fact based message I would answer quickly. A cumbersome message (asking complex, emotional questions) I would take awhile.


I think you should be yourself. If you generally reply promptly to e-mails, then continue to do so with your matches.
