I had a few men try to 'jump-start' the eH process and fast-track their phone number to me. My reaction was always that I didn't feel comfortable calling them without knowing more about them, so I didn't. I also wondered if they were too "Type A" to follow along with a system after they'd answered all those questions and had gone to the trouble of joining -- seems incongruent. Or maybe they were just trolling for the first woman who they could hookup with.


I think you're better off giving eH some credit and following the guided communication process unless your match has indicated that he prefers Fast Track. Good luck!

The first time somebody went fasttrac with me, it turned me off because it smacked of a domineering personality. now i don't mind direct communication but sending the phone number right away would caused raised eyebrows here. Emailing a few times, yes. But I'm so great that you need to meet or talk with me right away.

I can't speak for how guys feel, but I do feel a bit creeped out by the fasttrack to phone number request from my matches. Back in the days before caller id, if you called someone, not such a big leap, but now if I call you, you've got my number too, and if you've got my number (at least my home number), you've got my address and a handy satellite map showing my house. Don't believe me? Try an internet search on your number. Ick! I guess one could pay the extra $$ a month for the secure calling. Has anyone opted for this?
