I have a dream! I have a dream that one day we will live in a nation, together, in which a woman will not be judged by her weight, but by the aesthetic distribution of that weight!
Well since you just told me I meet some aesthetic criterian for distribution...bring it on!!

What a change from being judged for my brain, my confidence, my ability, my ambition, my drive....I could almost get used to it! It's about time my life turned superficial and fatuous!

So .9 is the right ratio for men eh? My handspan is exactly 8 inches. I have two dates this weekend. I will be sure to measure them both discretely and report back.

To the OP, sorry I am hijacking your thread but I need some fun in my weekend.

I mean, I say this assuming that my waist:hip ratio is not (also) intimidating to men? If it is, I'll just stick with my existing dealbreakers. I've grown rather fond of them. They bring a certain predictability into my dating life.

What about women who have .7 WTH but also have .7 chest-to-waist ratio?

Is that called a pendulum or a pear?

Monica Belucci supposedly has the ideal measurements: 90-60-90 (cm) or about 36"-24"-36".

If you do the math 24/36=.66That would put her within the range. There is an acceptable margin on either side of .7, but, typically, lower thanis better than higher.

how unacceptable is the body type on the right?

I look a lot like the woman on the right. Once a date told me I was thin (NOT) but then he apparently had a different body image himself, he was slim when I had met him but had lost a lot of weight. Then another date called me "obese" when obviously he was the pig....lol!

Really, to each their own! Some people like my shape, some don't. And yes, I am a pear!

Which were exactly my measurements.....at fourteen. Sigh. Those were the days!

So basically to be "perfect: I have to go back to my near pre-pubsescent stats? Is it just me that thinks there's something obscene about that?

Ms Belluci is a fine looking woman though.

I had no idea who Belluci was until I just looked her up. I wouldn't describe her as looking pre-pubescent. Definitely post-pubescent. LOL
