This is not really to the point of the OP's questions but it would help enormously in meeting people that are on the boards if they actually put their location. Most people have not listed any location. Then there are those who have listed some "cute" location. I have only seen one girl who actually listed that she lived in Orlando, FL and she has since removed that bit of information from her Advice profile.

Statgamer, I don't know if you know, but we have a VERY large Indian population in Australia. The general perception is Indiansare not yet datingoutside the Indian dating pool.

THAT perception, if it exists in the USA, may be more a problem for you that anything else. They don't ask for fear of being rejected. I'm not sure how long Indians have been living in the USA and England - I think it is a lot longer than here though.

Now, we expect the next generation (the children at primary school now) to date out much more - we've seen the pattern with every wave of immigration from a different country - Greeks, Italians, Lebanese. Asians are starting to date "out". Africans date "out".
I have dated a few Indian men in the US (Muslim and Hindu & first and second generation men) and I think this is just something that varies with each man and how open they are to a love match.

I'm not sure if my experience is what most people experience in the US in terms of the Indian dating scene. I have dated mostly in New England and California and I don't know what the perception is in other parts of the country.

In Lowe's, with my dog. On a nature trail, with my dog. At Publix, sans dog. Hmm, that's about it unless I'm at Comedy Zone with the local meetup group. I need to get out more.

Wow, what's with all these assumptions that women are sick of getting hit on? Would those women please speak up? I think they must be far more rare than men assume. Getting sick ofguys who can't take a hint is one thing, but the comments here indicate that mentake that as a reason to never approach any woman, ever.
Pretty much that is the case for me.

Back when I first noticed her on the Advice boards I did PM with her a couple of times.

You haven't met me in real life, Dear.

Ditto...
Now how could your dances for every occasion frighten men

So you various people indicate that I could meet you at (insert your store, park, street, where ever). So how many hours a day and how many days am I going to have to wait at this location before you come in?

Thank you Gr8Guy!

Forgive him, he is an accountant after all. I had a science background before I switched.
