Sorry, my last paragraph was not meant tosay that some celebrities look better without any makeup at all. If I meant that, I would have said that.I only meant that in my opinion, those women are natural beauties even without makeup. ALL of them, however, look better WITH makeup. My point was that only very few women are actually 'pretty enough' to get and keep a man's interest without any makeup.


I have seen pictures of Heather Locklear, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alyssa Milanoand Angelina Jolieas well asmany other celebrities without makeup, and trust me, they ALL look quite different enough without it to make a significant difference. They are still pretty without makeup because they have a good starting point to work with, but they're not AS pretty without makeup. My point in bringing it up at all was to point out to men who prefer no makeup on women that they would be quite unpleasantly surprised to find what the vast majority of us look like without any makeup. These women are the extreme cases of the most beautiful, and even they look far better with some makeup on.


As a woman who is intimately familiar with makeup and how it can enhance one's looks, I can tell when a woman is TRULY not wearing makeup, and when she's wearing makeup that is intended to make her APPEAR to not be wearing makeup. There's still a significant difference even between those two cases. Oddly, just last night I was watching 'Cold Mountain' aired on TV, and Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger were 'supposedly' not wearing makeup at all, but it was obvious to me that both of them were, but it was designed to make them look like they were bare faced.


So far, Jamie Lee Curtis seems to be the only female celebrity who is actually willing to discuss this openly AND reveal what she really looks like so the public can know the real truth. She said she was tired of living a lie. She made quite a name for herself by showing the true condition of her body in an article in Reader's Digest. This was a few years ago.
