There's nothing wrong with wanting to let it go...or not being interested in her because of the difference in incomes. However, be adult about it. At least shoot her an email and explain how you feel. Just because you're insecure about this doesn't mean you can't be an adult and give her an explanation.
I completely agree with chrlesmd on this. If you can't live with the difference, that's fine - your choice. But don't play games and sabatoge the relationship. Just be honest with her.

Who has the gold makes the rules, this is why most guys(including myself) want to always make more then our mates. Since she has more money she has more power over the relationship. If you can live with this fact and are happy then you should follow your heart.
So you assume if you make more than the woman..you have power over her? Is that why you want to make more than her?

This thread is more than two years old. I'm sure the OP has moved on to some other issue in his life.

I knew you'd come back with some quip. I was thinking something else (like he sabotaged her job) and now they live in a shack off of his meager clerk's salary (happily of course).

He is creating fake EH profiles from jail where he is spending the next 60 years for trying to kill her and take all of her money so she will like him?

Maybe he irritated her and she had him whacked and burried in the desert. She had all the power after all.
