And, if I get from a woman that she is “too busy,” or “too important” to devote time to finding and developing her relationship … NEXT!

Ok, I agree with being spontaneous and everything - great if it works out. But, this comment I don't agree with. If a man, match or otherwise, calls me Thursday or Friday for a date that weekend 98% of the time I already have plans. It has nothing to do with being unwilling to devote time to finding and developing a relationship because already having other dates would imply that that is exactly what I'm trying to do. So, does the man just pass over me then because I've told him that I have other plans?

To the OP: Unless it's an initial meeting for just coffee or drinks or something, or lunch during the week, I need some advance notice - Wednesday morning of that week at the very latest. But, that's just me

Hi Meg731--

I read everyone else's responses and by far, YOURS was the one I can honestly say DITTO to...meaning I really couldn't say it any better. So thank you...I have a full life, not a "busy" life but one full of friends, family, activities, church, love, teaching just a good life so I am not sitting around here at ANY time awaiting the "magic" call to take me out LOL thus on MOST weekends I make plans usually a few days ahead of time...and other times yes I am spontaneous BUT that is reserved for my close friends...if you are asking me out for the FIRST few times YES advance notice is appreciated and honorable in MY eyes...if however we've been dating a while (a couple months or so) ofcourse then spontaneity becomes part of our dating...I am not saying this is the golden rule, nor did you Meg, but for US this is our standard, love it or leave it LOL...
