Dry heat??? Uh, NO. I'm a native here, and I don't consider the heat dry, and I don't know ANYONE here who thinks North Texas experiences a dry heat. It's not as humid as Houston, but it's not dry like Phoenix. It's just humid enough to be hot and miserable in the summer.
On the positive side, I LOVE Fort Worth! Just walking around downtown is fun--plenty of things to do and see. It's lively, and it's not too big and not too small. It's juuuust right!

Being 22 and here for my doctoral program (3 years left thank goodness) the dating scene in fort worth is just for the old people (people over 30). Luckily for me it means I have nothing to do BUT study. If you're over 30 though you'll have a splendid time! Under 30 I suggest Austin for the real "hip" time.
