Great comments, everyone! So it seems like,

1. The more chronologically-advanced men generally feel tattoos on women to be a turn-off, and at least two would kick them out of bed. ; )

2. That if the tattoos are concealed or not disclosed initially, there would be no problems for at least a few of the guys who dislike tattoos in general

3. There are many men, particularly the younger ones, who not only accept their dates having tattoos, but are turned on by them.

4. Some of the women with small or concealed tattoos don't see what the big deal is.

Did I get that right?

I thought it was just hilarious that this thread showed up as the top discussion when I sat down to my computer this evening.

The funny part was that I was IM'ing with someone from these boards and last night the subject of personal ink was brought up.

It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me but I wouldn't be real crazy about ink on a woman that would be visible in any sort of a public situation. Now if it was in a area that only I would see that is a little different. I wouldn't make anyone or expect them to do that but I could see where it would be neat.

I don't have any ink and probably won't with a couple of exceptions. One being the above described. If she did I would be willing. Would have to be something tasteful though. No skulls or such.

The only Ink I would get in a public place would be a wedding band. Reason being I work with machinery in my occupation and I have seen the results of accidents where a regular band got caught up and destroyed the finger ( I don't want to get more graphic). IfI ever get a SO that wants me to wear a wedding band of some sort all the time I would consider a Tattoo as a compromise. This was disscussed maybe a month ago here.
