I was wondering if it is just that I can't seem to get anyone to go out on a date, or is it that women don't acully date on eHarmony?usaly after a few e-mails back and forth, and we get to know one another some I will usaly ask them outto get a cup of coffie, diner, or just to meet tomeet face to faceto talk. I've had vary little luck meeting women at eHarmony I've had 2 women that I meet up with, or tried to one never showed up. The other eHarmaony was way off on there match up with. We just didn't match. All the rest jsut stoped or never started talking. Im wondering if maybe eHarmonly is sending me non active members? Hope to hear back from the womens point of view on this one is it the same on your side with eHarmonly, or is it just me?Thak you for posts.

do you proofread your profile or the messages you send to your matches? I would be turned off by your spelling and grammar. Its not occasional, its your whole paragraph which could lead people to believe you don't care, you're not that smart or that English is not your native language...and it's really only okay if it's not your native language.

I agree .... unfortunately for you ... very poor spelling and/or grammar...

reads as a scammer... a fake..

Like CP says... and misspelling is one of the signs that we recognize that could possibly be a scammer... so where are you from, Fishing1979?

Fact is a lot of matches don't reply or reply very little. I never got many actual dates as most of my better matches were long distance.

However like others have stated...your question...from title through paragraph is very hard to read. Spelling is a big issue for online communication. A few errors here and there are one thing but every sentence and more is pushing it. Spell check would help you give a better first impression.

For me spelling is a big pet peeve but I think even when someone tries to make it through what you write...you only have a limited amount of time for them to figure out your words. If it's too hard...they'll give up and simply close.

Of course he may have updated it since your post but he does say " Lawton, MI."

One suggestion is to use a spell checker as the Ladies have suggested, and take an English course.

That reminds me of a bumper sticker: "I lernt evrythink at Publik Skool"

Interesting...you are now "cussing," you said the a$$ word! BTW, I like your new photo.

So, are you trying to tell me that not all scammers live here? I had quite a few matches with them during the short time that I was on eH. Perhaps the scammers in Lawton, MI might be improved compared to the ones here? Not so many spelling errors, perhaps?
