i have been chatting with this guy for about 4 months now. he is sweet realaible and everything. we have agreed that i visit. now i am a bit scared,,, we live in different continents.

More info would be helpful. Where do you both live(continents)? Is he traveling to meet you or the other way around? What other information about him do you have?

he is in UK i am in Africa.


i am so attached to him. we communicate in all ways.

Wow. As a mom of two daughters in their twenties, I say NO WAY!!! You have only talked to him online. He could be totally misrepresenting himself. Unless you have REALLY good friends in the UK that can watch your back, I say have him visit you on your turf.

Be very careful, especially if you are traveling to meet him. I have been ccommunicating with a guy for about a month. Seemed like a good fit. We were supposed to meet this Friday for coffee. This morning I get a call from a woman asking for Mike. I said she had the wrong number. She said she didn't. She was calling from his cell and wanted to know who I was. Turns out she has been with him for 5 years and their engaged. We got to talking and she told me I was the second woman from EH she called today. Nice guy. There is a lot more to the situation. I thanked her for calling me. Needless to say I closed him out.

Missed that part. Just a word of advice, as already said, don't travel to him. Make him do the traveling to you. It would be much safer if you met him on your own turf.
