So I started talking to someone on eharmony and he lives an hour away and we've just been texting for weeks but he doesnt reveal much about himself, just wants to flirt (sometimes creepily though he says he's kidding). He says he wants to meet me and is interested yet is too busy to set up a date. I understand people are busy and we live far, but its been a month now... Is it leading me on? All my friends are concerned and think I should let him go, but Im just curious enough to want to meet him. Im barely texting him now, hoping he'll call or set up a date but losing hope now! What do you think?
Thanks!

If you want something done then do it yourself or just move on entirely. There's nothing wrong with being blunt and saying "Hey, we've been talking a month, are you at all interesting in meeting? If not, my time is better spent on those who are." Some people need a reality check that online dating doesn't mean penpals, it's supposed to be a way of MEETING people.

...but he doesnt reveal much about himself...
and why, exactly, would you be interested in someone who will not tell you much about himself?

It would be best to find straight, available men in your area who are interested in you.

Being hung-up on gay boyfriends, texting mindlessly and having no clear idea of who or what you want..is a waste of time

Passively exchanging creepy texts without you asking in some manner "when would you like to meet?"....is pointless.

If there is no answer to that question ...time to select and move on to better quality matches....Good Luck...

I would move on. Why would you be interested in talking to someone who sends creepy "flirting" text messages? Seems as if you may like the chase more then him.

Yes, he is leading you on.

He says one thing (that he wants to meet you) and does another (never sets up a meeting). He is giving you a creepy vibe. Why on earth would you continue to communicate with someone like this?

Definitely wasting your time. Most likely married, bored, and looking for a little validation.

Why waste a month and counting of your life on this nonsense? Move on to someone who can actually date and is interested in doing so...with you.

I agree....it seems like you are in desperate mode right now trying to force things with any guy that happens to be around....

I would look deeper at why that is....and maybe it's good to take a break for a bit until you know the answer.

A complete stranger online who makes you feel uncomfortable....BEFORE meeting.....is not someone you should be worrying about when to meet....I would be deleting this guy..

Thanks. But I really thought I was asking a dating expert not random people online...
