Hey everyone, so as you can probably tell I am new to eHarmony (I live near a major city but not in a populated area so I wanted to give online dating a try) and I need some advice on what is probably a painfully simple question.

I am at the open communication stage with one woman and I can send her an e-mail. I have a good idea on what I want to write (something simple and to the point, 1 or 2 questions and give her my phone # and email) in the actual e-mail but I have no clue what to put in the subject line. To me the subject line seems like someone I would use more at work, it seems rather pointless on a dating site. I don't just want to put Hi or not put anything because I am sure that is what most people do but I really don't have an idea what to put.

What do you all recommend I put there? I appreciate any feedback.

I think you're overthinking it. "Hi" is usually good enough. It's not like I'm going to close someone for not being witty in a subject line. I might close them for being crude, but not for being ordinary.

Perhaps something neutral like "wanna get naked?"

Ha! I have to admit I would probably respond positively to this one. I'm sure some wouldn't, though.

It doesn't really matter what you put in the subject line (as long as it's not offensive or something, obviouly). They don't see it until they've accepted the OC anyway, and then they're going to be looking at the message, not the subject line. I honestly don't even remember any of the subject lines I received.

You mean you don't take your clothes off when you take a shower?

"you are very attractive and you sound very interesting".....It's a great universally flattering, yet vague enough line that will make the reader want to know what is so interesting about her....Good Luck
