So i met someone really amazing through eHarmony and he wants to go out on a date, and so do i, however i'm really self conscious about my body. I'm comfortable with my body but i just don't want him to get his hopes up about what i look like and then not be attracted to me. He's seen pictures of me on eHarmony and we get along so great over the phone. Is it normal to be a little bit more worried about meeting him than nervous/excited about meeting him? And how can i get over my fears of him not being attracted to me physically?
This is completely new to me so thanks for any advice i'm given!

If your pictures are accurate and show full body (or at least the majority of your torso), I wouldn't worry about it.

If the pictures do not represent how you look in person, that's a different issue (and the solution would be to get some accurate ones and upload them)

I agree with the above. If your pictures show you how you are then you have nothing to worry about. If you showed pictures which give a false impression then you deserve an adverse reaction if you get one.

I agree with the above posters. There was a thread the other day about "face only" profile photos vs. "full body shots", you might read that thread. (Or not, if you're already feeling self conscious).

My own photo is a "waist up" shot. But, I think this provides an accurate representation of my body as a whole. I do not "balloon out" below the waist, so there should be no surprises there on a first meet.

The best advice I can offer you is to not be so consumed with what he will think without remembering to listen to your own feelings about him. You should not be thinking "Does he like me?" but instead, "Do I like him and want to get to know him better?".

you get over your fear by doing everything you can to be honest about yourself. Show accurate pictures. Do not deceive on your profile.

Once you do that, you've done everything in your control. Now, its is up to him to decide, and you let him decide.
