I started guided communication with a christian guy a week ago, then we started communication via our email addresses. He seemed really nice and we shared some great comments. We exchanged a little more info about ourselves, nothing too deep. He even emailed me a couple of links to his fave christian music videos, and I did likewise. He asked me to send a few more pics, so I did. He even sent me a pic of himself with his little granddaughter. I have not had a reply in 3 days. I thought perhaps my emails didn't get to him, so I sent an email, this morning, asking if he got my last couple of comminications & pics. As of tonight, still no, reply. Our last communication was great Friday! I'm not overanxious or anything, I just feel like I've been left hanging. Being put on hold hurts my feelings a lot more than just being told, "hey, I've had a change of heart, glad we got to chat". I'm in my 40's, and apparently clueless on men my age!

i am in my forties but do not know if i am typical. but i can tell you about me.

i do not like email and do not communicate via it very well, very quickly or very often. it can often take me a week or longer to respond to personal email.

i just do not like it. i use it for bills and business. maybe he is like me. i do occasionally have brief flurries of activity but always try to warn matches before we go to OC of this.

perhaps he is the same. perhaps communication was happening too quick for him and he decided to slow it down.

and i routinely take several days to answer questions through guided communication just to avoid this scenario. people expect immediate replies and then worry if a stranger does not answer in a timely (what is that anyway) fashion. i never get to OC in one week.

if i were you, i would leave him alone and let him have some space. you contacted him last. it is his turn to reciprocate. let him have his turn, his time and his chance.

if he is interested in you, he will get back to you.

he just may need another day or two... or a few more.
