What does it mean when a guy has it's complicated as his Facebook status but doesn't have a girlfriend?

It can mean any number of things, but none of them are good. I usually translate it to mean, "Run, very fast, in the opposite direction."

It's another way of saying he has baggage. Think of it as a sign that says "Swim at your own Risk".

Most likely: he either wants someone who doesn't want him, he's in the process of a drawn-out breakup, he has a FWB who may think she's in a real relationship with him, or he's involved in some other such drama. What does it mean for you? Trouble.

Are you asking again because you don't like the answers you are getting?
Unfortunately, it doesn't get better. I know of such a person. He's married and wanting to be free, but still married, so that's what his "It's complicated means."

So, in essence, run the other way...leave it alone...drama...that's all you'll get.

LOL. He's been divorced since 2004. We have been friends since high school. For some reason, I find myself really, really attracted to him.
